The primary role of the LRC Public Information Office is to assist members of the General Assembly in communicating more effectively with their constituents. Our staff supports the legislative process with professional writers, photographers, video and audio communications, and media relations.
The office also works to increase public awareness of the legislative process and activities.
Media Relations
The LRC Public Information Office is the only office authorized to contact the media. The office
- releases agency news announcements and statements,
- issues news releases and advisories, and
- responds to media queries on behalf of LRC.
